Prague, 3 March 2026 – Czech unmanned aircraft manufacturer Primoco UAV SE has announced its first major contract of 2026. The new order, valued at EUR 4 million (approximately CZK 100 million), has been concluded with the Spanish Civil Guard Guardia Civil.
Guardia Civil is a nationwide elite security force with a military structure that performs a broad spectrum of duties across Spain and faces some of the most complex security challenges in contemporary Europe. Its operations extend far beyond the Spanish mainland, reaching deep into territorial waters and overseas territories outside the Iberian Peninsula, placing significant demands on the capabilities and range of the aerial technology in its service. Members of the Guardia Civil combat international organized crime, smuggling networks, and illegal migration on a daily basis. They ensure continuous protection of state borders, extensive coastlines, strategic ports, airports, and critical infrastructure, and conduct counter-terrorism operations as well as protect natural resources.
The Primoco One 150 unmanned aircraft will become a key technological asset of this force. Thanks to their exceptional endurance and advanced sensors, they will provide the Spanish Civil Guard with continuous monitoring capabilities over extensive maritime routes and borders, as well as tactical support for ground units in difficult-to-access terrain. Owing to the most comprehensive certification in its class, the Primoco One 150 aircraft offer seamless integration into airspace.
The new contract smoothly follows an exceptionally successful year 2025, during which Primoco UAV secured orders for the delivery of 42 aircraft with a total value of CZK 1.06 billion. At the same time, the company continues the substantial expansion of its facilities at its home factory airport in Písek-Krašovice, where it is currently constructing a new hangar and training facilities. The structural framework has already been completed, work has moved to the interiors, and the full commissioning of these facilities is scheduled for the first half of this year. At the end of 2025, Primoco UAV also applied for a building permit for an entirely new production hall in the cadastral area of the city of Písek. This hall will be built in the adjacent industrial zone and, upon completion, will enable the company to increase its maximum production capacity to up to 300 unmanned aircraft per year.
